The search for an ecological alternative to HFC fluid (which is harmful to the environment and is gradually being phased out) led Caulonque to invest in a propane-cooled refrigerator (R290) which is completely neutral in terms of environmental emissions. This cooler is equipped with an 80 m3 / h capacity converter pump with 4 bar pressure, it allows optimal cooling on large two-stage moulds type 4 + 4E ice 1 litre bins. On the network, a flowmeter equips each press and makes it possible to measure the exact needs of each mould during development tests.
